The End of an Epoch

Yves St. Laurent has died.  Not entirely surprsing news, but sad still because he truly was the last of a generation who will never pass this way again.

  1. So sad – he gave women freedom to be glamorous without having to be rich! An empowerment that was sorely needed at the time. He will be missed. BTW i love reading your site – thank you!!!

  3. I’m hoping a vintage pattern person will post some of the YSL Vogue patterns from the 70s as a tribute.

  4. I am so sad! My vintage pattern collection is small but I have a very lovely YSL pattern from the late 1960s/early 1970s that I will share later in the week.
