Trend analysis and forecasting

Filed under: Fashion — georgene @ 1:42 pm

Wow, I just had to share this resource with you – Infomat.com – a great online compendium of forecasting services. Click on ‘Trends’ to see their current European viewpoint forecasts for Spring and Fall 06. It may not help you if you are trying to forecast 12-18 months in the future, but if you are just trying to see around the corner into the next season, this is a great net resource. Spring 06 is so advanced for most of us in America, that you can apply it directly to Spring ’07.

Having a ‘handle’ for a trend helps to be able to formulate a look, and sift through your resources to see what you can come up with, whether its shopping your stash, or your closet, or heading for the attic to see what grandma’s got in those trunks. Information is power!
